All sunglasses featured within the Tech collection come with Carbon fibre frames with P3 lenses; Hydrophobic and antireflection polarized APX lenses. P3 (Plastic) and P3Plus (crystal) lenses are designed for high colour definition and enhancement and have a hydrophobic coating that ensures clear vision in all conditions, dust won’t stick and water will run off without leaving a trace, strengthened through an advanced chemical hardening process the lenses will withstand a 5/8 inch steel ball dropped from over 4ft. Light, tough and flexible; Tech delivers the height of technical innovation in eyewear. And of course they’re 100% UV protective. High performance lenses that last!

The arms are made with five layers of carbon fibre meaning incredible lightness, strength, durability, flexibility and comfort. They have monoblock hinges with no welds that ensure a lifetime’s performance and hydro static temple tips to make sure they stay in place whatever you’re doing! They also, as with all Ray-Bans are stunningly stylish and fashionable.

The Tech range products go through extreme testing before production. Therefore you can be rest assured that your sunnies have excelled in the following tests:
Cass Test – Testing resistance to chemical and physical damage.
Surface Coatings Test – Lenses are coated using a galvanic bath, their thickness is tested using X-rays.
Accelerated Aging Test – Checking resistance to temperature, humidity and radiation.
Dimensional Stability Test – Checking the opening stability by applying a weight of 500 grams to each side.
Side Stress Test – Checking the durability of hinges by simulating a lifetimes opening and closing.
Drop Ball Test – Dropping a 1.6cm steel ball from a height of 1.3m onto all lenses.
Abrasion and Scratch Test – Applying graphite pencil leads of increasing hardness.
Optical Bench Test – Laser testing of lenses to ensure perfect optical performance.
